NPR is doing its fund drive this week and my 2 hr commute feels like 4.If you live in the DFW area and are reading this, please please please just give them the money and lets get them to stop. Its really annoying when the NPR folks try to sell when they are obviously so bad at it.I mean really this is why they are in NPR.... if they were any good at selling they would be in commercial radio.That and their programs are rather addictive and I miss my daily fix so yes, go donate quickly .
On other news gas is edging towards the 4$/gallon and I drive 50 miles a day . And I drink Starbucks coffee. Everyday unless its a Monday and then I drink two coffees. This is non negotiable . With all this talk of recession and whatnot I will need to work the numbers to see if staying home and not drinking coffee might be a cheaper option.

Dude, i feel your pain. The fund drive here got cut three days short because everyone pledged early. GLORIOUS!
They cut out the Summer drive in July but now they gots to collect a bunch more money in each of the 3 drives. Its driving me nuts...
